Fireworks was founded in 1982 as a magazine for firework history enthusiasts. It soon developed into a general magazine on all things fireworks, and includes news, views, and information. It is published twice yearly.
One of its original aims was to ensure that old fireworks and firework memorabilia were not lost. Fireworks admirably continues that endeavour, publishing pages of colour pictures of fireworks which ensure that those who smelt the smoke before and during the forties, fifties, sixties and seventies are able, again, to enjoy seeing the fireworks of the past, and younger enthusiasts to see what they missed!
